Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu
"Mother Teresa"
Aug 26, 1910--Sept. 5, 1997

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live in faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

Mother Teresa embodies the love of Christ
When she says, "Give me your poor."
For if a seed is nourished and watered
New life will begin to sprout forth.

She knows each seed has a purpose
Although the covering may be rough.
For it is created in His Own Image
And it has value and worth.
She realizes inside is a "Spark of Life,"
Waiting for a gardener today.
To plant, to tend, to weed, with love
Keeping birds of prey away.

She has had to die to self many times
To be crucified with Christ.
Outweighing any worldly treasures
For the pleasures of Paradise.

God says, "Come here my daughter,
Sit here and rest your feet.
When I was thirsty, you gave me drink;
Hungry, you gave me meat"
